  • We only ask for your email so you can manage the short links you create.
  • Your email is encrypted in transit. It is never published, shown to other qrap users, sold or used for marketing.
  • We do not store your readable email address in our short-link database. We convert it into a protected, one-way identifier that lets us find your links when you sign in.

What we use

  • Your email, destination URL, short code and creation date to create and manage your links.
  • Temporary sign-in codes and security sessions. Codes expire after 15 minutes and sessions after 30 days.
  • Basic device, request and security information needed to run and protect the service.
  • Browser storage for your theme, current work and local link history. This stays on your device and you can clear it in the app or your browser.

We use this information only to provide qrap, keep it secure and prevent abuse.

Who processes it

qrap uses Cloudflare to host the service, store link and session data, check for abuse with Turnstile and deliver sign-in emails. Cloudflare may process technical data outside the UK using appropriate safeguards. We only disclose information when needed to run the service or when required by law.

Storage and deletion

We keep link records while the short links are active and retain limited security logs only as long as needed to operate and protect qrap. You can clear local history in the app.

If you would like us to delete your data, including anything associated with your email address, email qrap@codetrail.dev from the email address you used for qrap and ask us to delete your data. We need the request to come from that address so we can verify that the short links belong to you.

Who runs qrap

qrap is operated by Codetrail Ltd.
